Chassis Specifications

Chassis: 2004 spec "Rocket Chassis" (imported from USA) chrome moly tube frame.
Body: CV8 Holden Monaro. Aluminium body panels with plastic nose piece.
Suspension: Front - Upper A arm, lower control arm w/caster rod. Rear - Adjustable 4 bar, adjustable aluminium J bar (panhard), adjustable lift arm with 5th coil for traction under acceleration, 6th coil and wrap up Shock for braking.
Shocks: "Integra" aluminium threaded body coil-over, mono-tube, externally adjustable compression & rebound damping, remote mount
nitrogen canister (adjustable gas pressure).
Wheels: 15" diameter x 14" wide "Weld" lightweight aluminium racing wheels. Bead locks are used on right hand side. "Winters Performance" wide 5 hubs. "Hoosier" racing tyres.
Brakes: Vented 4 wheel disc brakes with "Wilwood" aluminium super lite 4 piston calipers. Right front brake can be turned off from
drivers cockpit. Brake bias (front/rear) is adjustable via a balance bar on the brake pedal.
Drive line: 2 speed (first/reverse and direct drive) aluminium "Bert" transmission with internal clutch. "Bert" aluminium bell housing with
rear mount starter and dry sump pump. Chrome moly drive shaft. Aluminium "Winters Performance" quick change diff with aluminium
spool, axle tubes, and drive flanges. Hollow axles. Magnesium quick change gear hat.
Steering: "Woodward" aluminium power assisted rack & pinion with "Sweet" servo & belt drive pump. "Grant" aluminium steering wheel
with quick release hub.
Weight: Late Model Racing Australia requires a minimum weight of 1000kgs (2200lbs). Cars are weighed after racing and include the
driver and all remaining fluids. We carry 80lb of lead ballast in the car at all times to meet weight limit.

Block: "World Castings" aluminium block, push rod V8 engine. Fully race prepared. Dry sump. Splayed 4 bolt steel main caps. "ARP" head & main stud kits.

Conrods: "Scat" 4340 chrome moly, H-Beam, 6.0".
Pistons: "Ross" 14:1 CR lightweight forged pistons with "Total Seal" rings.
Camshaft: "Lunati" factory roller grind. "Comp Cams" roller lifters.
Heads: "GM" 18deg High Port. Aluminium. CNC ported. "Crower" Stainless Steel shaft mounted roller rockers. "Manley" tapered chrome
moly push rods.
Intake: "Holley" HP Series 830cfcm alcohol carburetor, "Edelbrock" Victor Jr 18deg High Port manifold, "K&N" Extreme Series air filter.
Exhaust: "Dynatech" stepped headers with 3 1/2" collector & "Dynatech" mufflers.
Lubrication: "BDG" 4 stage, rear mount, belt drive, dry sump pump. "Moroso" dry sump pan. "Peterson" oil tank. In line oil coolers.
Ignition: "MSD" Pro Billet electronic distributor. "MSD" 6AL ignition control unit.
Performance: approx. 680 - 720 hp (500+KW).
